Coaching - Consulting - Investing

Business owners need different services at different times in their business. As you grow your company, you could use someone you can talk to about your dreams, goals, challenges, without judgement or being too pushy with ideas.

Later on, you may need a consultant who can go through your business looking for the biggest pain points and offer solutions to getting the business back on track.

And when you are growing, sometimes you want a partner who also has some skin in the game to make your business grow.

At each of these stages, I can offer you customized services to meet the demands of your particular business.

If you have questions about whether a business coach can help you, or if you need a third party to bounce an idea off of, or you would like to explore using a coach, let's get together for a conversation and see if the two of us can work together. No hassle, just a conversation.

A business coach is going to ask you about your business, ask you about your employees, your goals and challenges as they relate to the business. Sometimes it can get into the personal area because the business is affecting your personal life and relationships. So the business coach will help you get your business under control so you can have a personal life.

The first couple of sessions will be a little different than subsequent sessions. We will begin by having you express out load your goals for the next 3-6 months. Then what is blocking you from achieving those goals. What would your business look like if you didn't achieve those goals? What would your business look like if you did achieve those goals? All sessions are question oriented and created for you to come to your own best conclusions and actions.

Each business owner needs to find the right coach to connect with otherwise the process doesn't work. There are literally thousands of qualified business coaches out there. The best way to figure out who you can work with the best for your success is to have a conversation. I like many other coaches provide for a one hour no cost, no obligation session to see if I can help you or not. If we don't continue as coach and client, then we will have had the opportunity to expand our networks.

Before even becoming a certified John Maxwell Leadership Team member, I read Maxwell's 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership and have used that in all my management and leadership positions throughout my career. Next, The Essential Drucker. Peter Drucker awakened how an attentive manager could be a great leader by paying attention to the world, the business, and the employees. And lastly, The Art of the Long View by Peter Schwartz. Sustainable companies are not pushed around from one fad to the next but built over time with a long term goal and vision.

Short answer is that they are as long as you get use out of them. I typically like to sign up a new client for at least 6 sessions of an hour long each, placed roughly 2 weeks apart. After that a new schedule can be organized or we can just arrangements to be available for a few calls a year.

My business background is in manufacturing, distribution, and the service trades. And as for size, it is hard to say specifically, but generally a minimum of $500,000 in sales and 3 or more employees or subcontractors.
